i just spoke with Elmer Ramsey, and he is excited about having you on board. It should be an enjoyable and musically rewarding week for us all. The people who come are wonderful and many are first-class players. i’m so glad you are having an exciting time in Palm Springs, but we can’t wait to have you back up here. i’ll try to sniff out a combo gig or 2 in addition to the big band dates.

Hi Craig
I am trying to see if I can do the NW Big Band at Fort Worden this year. I can’t find info yet on dates, although I did find an email site for Elmer Ramsey to ask him (Hidden Valley). Sandi says I will play two gigs with you late Nov and December with Stardust. If you have other gigs, I’d love to do them on piano or bone or both. Also my singing is better. Down here in Palm Springs I am playing piano with Dixiecats and Frank Jordan group and bone with the Ted Herman orchestra (he’s pretty well known!) Thanks, Eric LIndstrom

Dear Nancy, thank you so much for the encouragement. The Mojo Gumbo listing was for 2009. Not sure when they will return again. Maybe we should all go to Maui to hear them? I was trying to get Steve Grimes and got your website. WOW! Craig what a great site you have–your musical history right here!
Bill and I will definitely be going on September 1 to hear you all play at Pt. Townsend. Do you know if the tickets are on sale yet?
